HELP SAVE THE WORLD!!!

The world is sick and needs everyone help. the pollution in this world is getting worse. Therefore, everyone plays an important role to help to prevent pollution from getting worse.

According to Wikipedia, pollution is the introduction of contaminants into an environment that causes instability, disorder, harm or discomfort to the ecosystem i.e. physical systems or living organisms.[1] Pollution can take the form of chemical substances or energy, such as noise, heat, or light. Pollutants, the elements of pollution, can be foreign substances or energies, or naturally occurring; when naturally occurring, they are considered contaminants when they exceed natural levels. Pollution is often classed as point source or nonpoint source pollution. The Blacksmith Institute issues annually a list of the world's worst polluted places. In the 2007 issues the ten top nominees are located in Azerbaijan, China, India, Peru, Russia, Ukraine and Zambia.

There many impacts that might happen due to pollution. pollution can ruin the life circle of the living things in this world, also affect the health of a human being and spoil the environment. first of all, adverse air quality can kill many organisms including humans. Ozone pollution can cause respiratory disease, cardiovascular disease, throat inflammation, chest pain, and congestion. Water pollution causes approximately 14,000 deaths per day, mostly due to contamination of drinking water by untreated sewage in developing countries. An estimated 700 million Indians have no access to a proper toilet, and 1,000 Indian children die of diarrhoeal sickness every day. Nearly 500 million Chinese lack access to safe drinking water. 656,000 people die prematurely each year in China because of air pollution. In India, air pollution is believed to cause 527,700 fatalities a year. Studies have estimated that the number of people killed annually in the US could be over 50,000.

Oil spills can cause skin irritations and rashes. Noise pollution induces hearing loss, high blood pressure, stress, and sleep disturbance. Mercury has been linked to developmental deficits in children and neurologic symptoms. Older people are majorly exposed to diseases induced by air pollution. Those with heart or lung disorders are under additional risk. Children and infants are also at serious risk. Lead and other heavy metals have been shown to cause neurological problems. Chemical and radioactive substances can cause cancer and as well as birth defects.

as environment, pollution has been found to be present widely in the environment. There are a number of effects of this:

* Sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxides can cause acid rain which lowers the pH value of soil.
* Nitrogen oxides are removed from the air by rain and fertilise land which can change the species composition of ecosystems.
* Soil can become infertile and unsuitable for plants. This will affect other organisms in the food web.
* Smog and haze can reduce the amount of sunlight received by plants to carry out photosynthesis and leads to the production of tropospheric ozone which damages plants.
* Invasive species can out compete native species and reduce biodiversity. Invasive plants can contribute debris and biomolecules (allelopathy) that can alter soil and chemical compositions of an environment, often reducing native species competitiveness.
* Biomagnification describes situations where toxins (such as heavy metals) may pass through trophic levels, becoming exponentially more concentrated in the process.
* Carbon dioxide emissions cause ocean acidification, the ongoing decrease in the pH of the Earth's oceans as CO2 becomes dissolved.
* The emission of greenhouse gases leads to global warming which affects ecosystems in many ways.

In order to help save the world and prevent the world from getting worse, there are many ways that can be done. However, saving the world should not be an individual work and it should be done by all the human beings in this world. A small group of human being working hard to save the world and a great group people are spoiling the world can do no help in saving the world. Therefore, the cooperation of all the human being is important to ensure the world to free from pollution.

There are many ways that can be done to help save the world. It can be seen from the examples below:
A) Water Pollution
• Toxic products like paints, automobile oil, polishes, and cleaning products should be stored and disposed off properly. It is better to use non-toxic, products for the house as far as possible. Also, never dispose off such products by throwing them into your toilet or sink.
• Dispose off your trash in a proper manner and try and incorporate the recycling habit as far as possible.
• Refrain from throwing litter into streams, lakes, rivers, or seas. If you do spot litter on beaches or in water systems, after ascertaining that it is safe, collect them and dispose off them in any nearby waste disposal system.
• Try using environmentally friendly household products like toiletries, soap-based household cleaning material, and washing powder as far as possible.
• Try using natural fertilizers and pesticides as far as possible, or if not, do not overuse them or over-water gardens and lawns. This will help in reducing the pollutants that get into water systems due to runoffs.
• Automobile oil should be re-used as far as possible.
• Also, actively conserve water by turning the tap off when you do not need running water.

B) Air Pollution
• Forming and implementing a car pool will reduce the number of cars, thereby, preventing air pollution by cutting down the use of fossil fuels.
• Timely servicing of the car helps to keep it in a good condition and also minimizes fuel exhaust. Make sure to use unleaded petrol and opt for regular pollution checking of your car.
• Whenever possible, try to travel by public transports. If you are going to a nearby place, go by walking or use bicycle.
• Use alternative energy sources such as solar energy, hydroelectric energy and wind energy.
• Saving energy help to prevent air pollution. Switch off the lights, fans, air conditioners, and other appliances, when not in use.
• Always try to minimize smoke emission. One way is to compost dried leaves and kitchen waste, instead of burning them. Composting will also give you organic fertilizer for your garden. While buying the products, always choose air-friendly and recyclable products that will minimize the emission of pollutants.
• Don’t smoke
• Don’t use harsh chemical cleaners that can emit fumes
• Don’t open burning

As a residence in this world, everyone plays an important role and responsible to make sure the world is in a good form. The end of the world means then end of the living things in this world. For that reason, we must STOP POLLUTING the world and free the world from pollution.

"LOVE OUR EARTH, PROTECT OUR EARTH, SAVE OUR EARTH!"
